I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Revolut (London, England) in Jun 2022
Interview
I was approached by the recruiter, had an initial call with HR, did the cognitive test (have to score above 90 out of 100 to move on to an interview), and then had the first round with the hiring manager, which was supposed to be a 30min chat.
The interviewer obviously lacked patience and respect: He literally ended the interview midway by saying "I don't think you are a good fit for this role" when he learnt that I don't have direct work exposure to a certain area which they are looking for. However these facts could have been checked in the initial screening call, or at least the interviewer could have asked me and let me finish my answer to see what's my knowledge of certain things.
The call was ended in a very cold, unprofessional and relatively awkward manner. The interviewer did not thank my participation in this process. Although it's arguably to say that cutting out early is de-facto not wasting time for both sides, business etiquette and attitude matter.
It seemed that the communication between HM and the recruiter was not very clear...
