I have been working at Direct Line Group full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

I really like working here. Love being part of a company who is so driven to move forward, and the sense of being part of something exciting. There is always something going on. This is my first time working for a large company and the range of roles and opportunities is really interesting.

I have found them to be a really flexible employer that appreciates work life balance and employees wellbeing

    Cons

I would struggle to think of anything that stands out

I worked at Direct Line Group full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

An organisation that really cares for customers and it's employees. I really miss the organisation and the flexible working is just an added bonus. DLG encourage brave thinking and reward ideas through Lab Idea.

    Cons

Nothing negative, other than it being to nice and generous to it's staff.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the great work and don't lose sight of what has been built over the years!

I have been working at Direct Line Group full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Since splitting from RBS (in 2013) there has been a significant push to drive a positive culture across DLG. Within Group Audit we have a great team, working together for the same goal. We're a social team, which helps to make work fun, as well as interesting and we believe in trusting our employees who have greater autonomy in their day to day jobs than I have seen at other audit teams.

    Cons

Our IT estate is in the process of being updated, and we're currently experiencing some teething problems as this done.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the good work, we're number 3 in the Best Companies survey - so let's try and get to number 1 next year!

I have been working at Direct Line Group full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The people make this company, you meet some amazing people who turn in to great friends.
Company benefits such as 50% off car, home & pet insurance

    Cons

Pressurised to hit stats and when you don’t external personal circumstances do not get acknowledged - same goes for any time off even if it’s a day purely for sickness or bereavement

    Advice to Management

Acknowledge the hard work given by employees - we don’t all just want money thrown at us to make work “great”
