I have been working at Direct Line Group full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

I really like working here. Love being part of a company who is so driven to move forward, and the sense of being part of something exciting. There is always something going on. This is my first time working for a large company and the range of roles and opportunities is really interesting.

I have found them to be a really flexible employer that appreciates work life balance and employees wellbeing

    Cons

I would struggle to think of anything that stands out

I have been working at Direct Line Group full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    good benefits, bonus, working environment

    Cons

lack of progression, old staff stuck in their ways and dont move over to let hungry and excellent staff to progress

    Advice to Management

Stop letting Perm managers get away with not knowing the job, because they have been there a long time doesnt mean they can function efficiently as people managers and struggle when there is alot of good consultants that would do there job full time and a great deal better with more knowledge.

I have been working at Direct Line Group full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I have been working at DLG for nearly 18 months now. It is so refreshing to work somewhere where they truly care about their staffs emotional intelligence. I am constantly amazed and comforted by the time and effort senior management put into EQ. Its great to see this filtering down through the management layers.

    Cons

I work in Bromley South - and I have to say the location is not great.

    Advice to Management

Please keep up the EQ work, it really is having a very positive effect - and ensure radical candour is a focus too.

I have been working at Direct Line Group full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I have only worked here for a short period of time, but the induction was excellent with time to spend with everyone in the team to make sure I got a good understanding of everyone's roles.

    Cons

Lots of single use plastic items (coffee cups, salad boxes and soup bowls) and no kitchens to wash you things up in making you reliant on plastic, but I understand this is changing - not a day to soon!
