Can be long weeks of work

career progression opportunities very slim; salary doesn't increase as much as it should according to function; stupid policies regarding performance measurement; too many clients to be able to provide adequate luxury service

Leadership among all departments and specifically the operations ones are completely and totally concerned with how their department looks, instead of being concerned with how it performs or the people that work in them. You’d be hard pressed to find a manager that has any core competency as a manager or desire to develop their employees, and even harder pressed to find a director who’s knowledge of their departments responsibilities goes any deeper than surface level. Unless you desperately need a check, look elsewhere, otherwise youll eventually be asking yourself 4 years down the road, in the same job where the title has changed from x to y and then back to x twice, and making only 10% more than you started with, how long you are gonna let them continue to lead you along.

It seems like a lot of departments have a lot of comradery however I have heard other people (including myself) express either feeling overworked and under valued. It also seems that management comes and goes, and is picked more by who is your buddy than by who is qualified.

Long duty days with constant changes throughout the day. Short rest periods. Out early am 1st day, home late evening last day.

Long duty - 12hrs + Intimidation - I think in a bid to regain control of their employees management has crossed a line. Leading through fear is not an effective strategy Short overnights - less than 12hrs Lack of support - In my short time here, I haven’t had a single day where everything went smoothly, it’s chaos at best.

Incompetent management Team members get away with being absolutely terrible at their job with no repercussions Bonuses are structured in a way that it’s impossible to get 100% of what’s actually available/promised during your interviews Low pay for the insane amount of stress this job causes; many coworkers would cry on a regular basis Not providing pay that aligns with high cost of living areas, which is ridiculous considering their parent company is Berkshire Hathaway that literally has billions in revenue No boundaries between management and their team members Parking is a nightmare due to construction Inconsistent and irregular work hours as late as 11pm, required to work some weekends The HR representative who led my exit interview had her jaw on the floor after I outlined everything I experienced during my tenure. Senior management was aware of all of it and did nothing.
