We’re proud to continue our partnership with STEM Returners, to support professionals returning to STEM careers after a break. After the success of last year’s programme at Hinkley Point C and in Nuclear Services, we’ve opened up new opportunities across engineering, quality, procurement, project management, commissioning and more. These paid, six-month placements are designed to support a smooth transition back into industry, with the potential to move into a permanent role at EDF. “Having a STEM Returner join our small team was invaluable. I’m really glad that I could be part of finding a full-time role for my returner. She was an asset and will be a great boost for the project”. Kate, Manager at EDF. Interested in learning more? We’re incredibly proud to share that the Customers business has been named one of The Sunday Times Best Places to Work 2025! Not only did we make the list, but we’ve also landed a spot in the top ten for ‘very big organisations’ - a huge achievement and a true testament to the culture we’ve built together. This award recognises workplaces that go the extra mile to create environments where people feel empowered, supported and genuinely valued. Being named one of the best places to work puts us among the UK’s top employers - those setting the benchmark for employee experience, wellbeing, inclusivity and growth. It’s a powerful reflection of our commitment to putting people at the heart of everything we do. Although we do get a trophy to keep on the shelf, this recognition is about so much more. It’s about the way we show up for each other, the way we collaborate and the pride we take in our work. Out of more than 500 companies, making the top ten in our category is something we can all celebrate. A massive thank you to every colleague in Customers - your passion, dedication, and energy are what make EDF such an incredible place to work.

Celebrating 30 years of Sizewell B! The UK’s youngest nuclear power station, Sizewell B, is celebrating its 30th birthday today. Helping to power millions of UK homes, whatever the weather, the power station has generated more than 250 TWh of zero carbon electricity since it was first connected to the grid in 1995. That’s the equivalent of powering every home in Suffolk for 192 years! Congratulations to the team at Sizewell B on this incredible milestone. https://ow.ly/irpO50UZc7V
