Climate change is one of the greatest challenges we face, but we can all make a difference. In the summer of 2020, EDF in the UK launched its company purpose, ‘Helping Britain achieve Net Zero’, and our CEO Simone Rossi set out how our employees can play that part in making NetZero a reality. The work that we do at EDF makes us all ‘Net Zero Heroes’, and we want to take the time to recognise those employees who are taking concrete action to support us in our commitment to help the UK achieve Net Zero emissions by 2050. We spoke to Nassif Berrabah, O&M R&D Lead Research Engineer in our R&D team, about his role and some of the projects he has worked on in the last year.
Happy Pride Month to our customers and colleagues! Every year, LGBTQ+ people and allies around the world come together to show their support for LGBTQ+ rights, culture and communities. It’s an opportunity to celebrate the progress we’ve made in moving to a more inclusive world and acknowledge that there is still work to be done. At EDF, everyone's welcome - that's why we’ve incorporated the #ProgressFlag colours into our logo during this Pride Month and are proudly flying the Pride Progress flag at our sites across the country to show solidarity with the LGBTQ+ community.
