Does there seem to be diversity at Hollister Co.?

Able to work alone during stock shifts

Customers were very rude and managers were a mess. No diversity in management

In the beginning the work culture, fun enviornment, LGBTQIA and Diversity inclusion, good discounts as well with the fun associates were one of the positives of working here at this establishment.

However there is more downsides to my expierence here. The pay is extremely low, hours not guaranteed, the management is not in stable hands, and we are force to give shout outs and writing our names for customer reviews regradless of chances of negative reviews. Ever since a couple of my favorite managers resigned from my current retail location, it has started to go downhill with management. The management is not the same as of right now, and the culture is not the same as of right now. In fact, our current manager is always extremely critical with every task we perform and we are forced to give our shout outs to customers even though their expierence was not possitve. What is even worse, me along with a couple associates receieved a negative review from some low life customer who said we had the worst customer service ever, which made us feel bad about ourselves as our manager is always critical about just giving shouts regradless of customer's expierence. And not only that, but the culture is just not the same as I started working here last March 2024.

Great work culture and sense of belonging

Bad pay, you have to have a bachelors to get this position and it earns you less than 50k a year. Stressful and overstretched staffing and management especially during peak season.

-Flexible Scheduling -Generally good work environment with a motivated team -Inclusive company culture

-Company has reduced hours over the past few years, making most days run off of a skeleton crew -VERY young teams at most stores, would not recommend for 30+ y/o -Internal promotion system is highly dependent on relationship with upper management over qualifications

Helpful management, inclusive choice of products

I think this goes for all Hollisters but the lighting inside is a but dark.

Fast paced on holidays, lots of tasks thrown at you at once

Young people, good discounts, active working environment, it's an average job to get experience and look elsewhere after a few months.

music can become very annoying, not the best hours and not much else to do. can become very busy at times with little staffing, physically demanding as well as you need to keep walking and also interact with customers

Friendly and inclusive work environment.

It would have to be low pay.
