We have an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Space Systems Engineer with a passion for Systems Engineering to join our growing team in Newcastle.
The Role:
Reporting to the Chief Engineer, you will play a key role within in the team contributing across the full system lifecycle. You will be responsible for supporting system definition, integration activities, and ensuring that software and hardware components function together seamlessly to meet mission requirements.
This role is ideal for a graduate with a Systems Engineering background, particularly with exposure to integration, test, and verification, or someone with a strong software background who has worked within multidisciplinary engineering environments.
You will:

Contribute to systems engineering, systems modelling, integration and test activities, including planning, execution, and reporting

Support the development of verification and validation strategies, test procedures, and test campaigns

Work closely with software, hardware, and systems teams to resolve integration issues and ensure system performance

Assist in defining and managing system requirements, interfaces, and architectures

Participate in system design reviews and technical discussions across the engineering lifecycle
We’re looking for someone who:

Has a degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related discipline

Has an interest or experience in system integration, verification, validation, or test engineering

Understands or is eager to learn about complex system lifecycles and multidisciplinary engineering environments

Proactive, detail-oriented, and enjoys problem-solving in a collaborative team setting
