Trainee Marine Electronics Engineer:

Are you an aspiring Electronics Engineer looking to build your knowledge and upskill yourself through a varied role within an industry-leading company. We focus on systems such as Radar, Gyro compass, VHF & MF/HF Radio and GPS navigation. This role would suit an individual with an interest in Electronics, looking to join a well-established industry specialist, who offer full training and progression opportunities.

Key Requirements:

Assist and shadow the Marine Electronics Engineer in carrying out all Marine Electronic installations and maintenance effectively on a wide range of equipment in accordance with accepted trade practice.

Good initiative and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications/Experience:

Maintenance and service background in an Electronic/Electrical environment is desirable

A formal qualification in electronics/electrical e.g. HNC/HND level or Level 3 is desirable or working towards

Must have the right to work in the UK

This is a permanent, full-time role based in Aberdeen with frequent travelling in and around the local area as necessary. Therefore, a full current UK driving licence is desirable.
