Our digital team are responsible for creating an easy, engaging, and optimised online experience for our customers, looking after them from their first visit to our websites all the way from making a booking right up until the day they depart for their holiday.  They do this through understanding their needs and behaviours, analysing what they do on our sites, and innovating their experiences through continuous ‘test & learn’ programmes.

    I have been working at TUI Group full-time (Less than a year)


    TUI has its customers and colleagues at the heart of everything it does! I work within the Head Office at Luton and the culture here is amazing. There are so many opportunities to learn and develop, fun activities happening all the time and a real focus on career development and personal progression.


    Its a busy office and people may complain about lack of parking, but we've introduced newWays of working which is a flexible approach providing a work/life balance and freeing up some of those precious spaces. Plus the parking is FREE so what's to complain about???

    Advice to Management

    Just ensure that the colleague experience is consistent across the business by educating ALL line managers on the importance of regular 1:1s, encouraging colleagues to make time for their personal development and having the space to speak openly and honestly about any challenges.

    I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at TUI Group (Sheffield, England) in August 2018.


    The interview process took around 6 weeks from start to finish. The online assessment was very easy, especially if you have experienced working with the public before. The manager was very informative and talked me through the step by step process. After I passed the first stage online, I was contacted by the store manager as my CV had impressed them. I was then invited for a telephone interview which we later planned for the following week. I was very lucky to pass this, and was then invited along for a face to face interview which involved a simple maths test. Even after getting that far I was so proud of myself as many people did apply for the vacancy.. I was contacted around a week later to be told I had made it down to the final 3, and was invited into store for a trail!!!
    I must of impressed them and I was contacted the next day with a job offer... over the mood was an understatement.

    • All questions were very customer service based, which you would expect. Being yourself and confident really helped me I reckon. They require people to be able to build a relationship with customers, not just book them a holiday.   Answer Question
