There is no doubt that flexible working is becoming a must for many employees… and it is one of the fabulous benefits we are proud to offer our staff. We asked our employees how Wesleyan’s flexible working supports their everyday lives – here is what they had to say!
We are super proud to be sponsoring the International Children's Games' opening ceremony! The event will take place on 12th August in Coventry, and we can't wait to attend. As a mutual, we thrive by staying true to the needs of our communities, and do what we can to help important causes, such as the International Children's Games.
Let's get physical! At Wesleyan, we take pride in supporting our employees' mental and physical well-being. To encourage our employees to take time out of their work day to look after their physical health, we created 'Wesleyan's Physical Week'. Take a look at what everyone got up to!
Over the past six weeks we have had the pleasure of partnering with 10000BlackInterns, and welcomed sixteen wonderful interns to Wesleyan. We have loved getting to know each individual, watching them grow professionally and personally. Our Chair, Nathan Moss, adds "It was a pleasure to spend time with our interns, discussing their views on Wesleyan and the wider financial services industry. What a smart, creative and inspiring group of young people. I’m delighted Wesleyan has been involved with the 10,000 Black Interns initiative and grateful for the energy, ideas and perspectives our interns have brought to our business. We need to build a more inclusive economy that works for everyone, it is essential that sectors such as ours pull together to address the under representation of Black talent in this industry". We wish them the every best of luck for the future!
Eid Mubarak! Last week, we got together and celebrated Eid Al Adha at our Head Office. From sharing insights and laughter, to enjoying plenty of fabulous food and company, we had a great time.

Wesleyan Chief Executive Mario Mazzocchi recently got to spend some time with Women Acting In Today's Society - an amazing organisation that is making a huge difference thanks to a Wesleyan Foundation grant. Mario visited the organisation alongside the Heart of England Community Foundation's CEO Tina Costello, to hear about the positive impact that WAITS has had on women dealing with domestic violence across Birmingham. Wesleyan Foundation awarded £10,000 to the organisation, which has funded the salary of a part-time Domestic Violence Support Worker for 12 months as part of the Iona Resilience and Resettlement project. The project assists women to build domestic abuse resilience, overcome practical daily challenges, and recover from emotional trauma imposed by their abuser.
