We're DELIGHTED to reveal that we received TWO awards at the FTAdviser Diversity In Finance Awards 2021 for our work in progressing gender diversity and social mobility. In a year of record entry numbers, Wesleyan were named 'Championing Social Mobility' award winners and also 'Championing Gender Diversity' winners. We'll be sharing further updates relating to these two categories in the coming weeks, as we're very proud of the activity that is being undertaken across both areas. Inclusion and Diversity Manager, Naheem Ahmed shares his thoughts on the awards: “I must say a huge thank you to all of our diversity networks and employees for their efforts in driving forward positive change. This collaborative work showcases our unity as a mutual society and highlights the good we are doing in the world and for our people.”

We’re delighted to announce the appointment of Dr Harpreet Sood to our Board of Directors. Harpreet is a practicing NHS GP and a board member of Health Education England. He has expertise in utilising data and digital technologies to transform health services and advancing clinical training and workforce development. This includes a growing portfolio of work on the clinical impact of artificial intelligence (AI).
