We are incredibly proud of Wesleyan Chief Risk Officer, Roger Dix, who was last night awarded the Midlands Director of the Year award for Equality, Diversity & Inclusion at the Institute of Directors Midlands Awards. This award celebrates both his remarkable work as a Director over the last three decades, as well as his relentless advocacy for inclusion and diversity. Speaking about this recognition, Roger says, “On the one hand I’m delighted to receive the reward, on the other I’m truly humbled to be recognised, knowing that this has been a great team effort which I have had the privilege and pleasure of leading. “I’d like to thank the many people who have supported and contributed to our I&D journey – the real prize is in moving the dial to become a more inclusive organisation.” Wesleyan CEO, Mario Mazzocchi, adds, "I’d like to congratulate Roger on this brilliant achievement. Roger’s credentials as a Director speak for themselves, but I’m delighted to hear he has been recognised for the hard work he has put into making workplaces across the Midlands more inclusive".
