Working at Velrada has been an incredible experience! The career progression opportunities are fantastic, with plenty of room to grow and take on new challenges. Its a company that is growing globally, and is providing team members with the opportunities to travel to new countries, to implement leading edge technology for some of the worlds biggest companies. The team here is filled with dedicated coworkers who are always willing to lend a hand and collaborate, making it a fun and fast-paced environment to work in. One of the best aspects is the chance to step outside your area of expertise and explore different projects and technologies, which has really broadened my skills. If you're looking for a dynamic and rewarding workplace, I highly recommend Velrada!"

The fast pace environment is not for everyone. Lots of people say they like working in a fast pace environment, but in reality they can become overwhelmed.

Diverse range of projects, at larger scale. Lots of opportunities for growth and learning all the time. The culture is very caring, and the leaders very knowledgeable in their fields, and always willing to listen and help.

More structure around learning and development, and clarification around roles would be beneficial

When the original owners ran the company, it was a great place to work, with a positive and supportive culture. The business got sold to NRI and the new CEO took over, the environment has deteriorated, becoming toxic and rife with unethical practices.
Cons
Velrada is no longer a company I'm proud to work for. Since the original owners left, the environment has become stressful, toxic and unethical. Many of us are just waiting for the right opportunity to move on, and when it comes, we won't hesitate to leave. Since NRI took over, the company has gone downhill, starting with the appointment of new CEO who rarely shows up, while we're required to fill out attendance sheets just to prove we're in the office. We used to have be able to work remotely, but now that's only granted to management's favorites. Serious complaints about leadership, go completely ignored. Upper management are focused only on protecting themselves instead of supporting the people who actually keep things running and fill their pockets. Management has NO care about our well-being either. They openly talk down about people in front of others, it's disrespectful and unprofessional and fuels the toxic environment. On top of that, there's no clear pipeline of work. There are many of us on the bench right now. Instead of addressing these business challenges, people are put pushed out of the company through performance plans or made redundant. There have been mass redunancies and layoffs and more expected, we are all feeling unsettled. There is no clear direction on where the business is heading. It seems that NRI will just start to take over soon, and then we are all essentially made to leave. To current and new employees if you want to know who you are working for, just read glassdoor reviews for NRI and that will show the current state of Velrada and it's future under their management.

Velrada has to have one of the best company cultures and people I've ever experienced in my career. Everyone from any level are always happy to help without a second thought. They have wonderful benefits for their employees from health insurance to retail discounts and wellbeing.
Cons
Current office is not great although we will be relocating soon.
