20 Most Recommended Tech Employers in the UK

Around one in four new hires originate from an employee referral, and referred employees tend to be a better fit for a company. It stands to reason then, that the likelihood for an employee to recommend their company to a friend is a significant measure that both job seekers and recruiters should pay attention to. After all, you wouldn’t eat in a poorly rated restaurant or stay in a hotel that didn’t have good customer feedback, so why apply for a job at a company that isn’t strongly recommended by the people that already work there?
In order to explore what companies are most likely to have employees that are ambassadors, we are announcing a new ranking for the Most Recommended British Tech Employers, according to their employees. The list is based on the input of current and former employees who have voluntarily reviewed their employer on Glassdoor in the past year*. As part of the review process, Glassdoor users can select whether they would recommend their company to a friend, which produces a percentage rating displayed on the site.
The Most Recommended British Tech Employers for 2017 are:
