We support children and young people with complex disabilities and health needs through specialist education, care, therapy, and support services, helping every young person build confidence, independence, communication, and opportunities for the future. We’re looking for an Assistive Technology Manager to lead our specialist Assistive Technology and Rehabilitation Engineering service.
This is a highly practical and collaborative role working directly with children and young people, therapists, teachers, education colleagues and care teams to develop innovative technology solutions that support communication, learning, participation, independence and quality of life.
You'll play a key role in ensuring that assistive technology is effectively embedded across education, therapy and care, helping children and young people access the tools, environments and opportunities they need to thrive.
LOCATION: North Chailey, BN8 4EF
SALARY: £42,000 - £49,000
HOURS: 37 hrs per week
JOB TYPE: Full time, Permanent

What You’ll Do
As Assistive Technology Manager, you will lead the delivery and ongoing development of specialist assistive technology and rehabilitation engineering services across the organisation. Working closely with multidisciplinary colleagues, you will help identify, assess, implement and maintain technology solutions that support communication, learning, physical access, independence and engagement.
You will provide both operational management and specialist expertise, ensuring assistive technology services continue to evolve and meet the changing needs of the children and young people we support.
