The entire process took approximately 2 weeks. After the application is submitted, there are a couple of assessments and a typing test. If passed, there is a Hirevue interview with basic interview questions that are self-recorded. Next, a phone screening with a recruiter. Lastly, a video interview with a supervisor.

Interviewed in the office twice with the team leader and director. Each interview last about 40 minutes. The position was for paid-per-click marketing, and the team was hiring an entry level. General questions of what I know of their Ad products, ever saw/used it as a customer.
- What is Power Click and how it works? (if you know any)

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at eBay (Tampa, FL) in Jun 2022
Overall quick process. After I applied online, I was contacted the same day to complete an online assessment. The next day I was contacted by email to complete a self-recorded interview. A day later I received a texted asking when I was available for a phone call interview. After that, I was setup with a virtual interview with the hiring manager that same week.
- Tell me about an experience where you had to deal with a difficult customer, how did you handle it? Tell me about a time that you had to do something uncomfortable, what was the experience and outcome? Where do you see yourself in the next 5 years?

Long interview process but recruiter was incredibly thorough and explained everything in detail. Received great communication throughout the process. Consisted of a recorded interview with typing test, phone screen with recruiter, then video interview with hiring manager.
- What challenges have you faced in previous roles?
Anonymous Interview Candidate in Atlanta, GA
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at eBay (Atlanta, GA) in Apr 2022
After my initial application, I was moved through the process quickly. The second step was a technical assessment consisting of generic math problems, word problems, and a standard typing test. After passing this assessment, I moved to the third step. The third step was a prerecorded video interview. It had 12 questions and seemed easy enough. However, they do not give you much time to prepare to answer these questions. The STAR method is dated and it is what they recommend you use to progress through the video interview. The audio playback from my video was very quiet and for a segment of the interview, my camera froze. I was unable to stop the interview and attempt to fix it on my end. They say that an actual recruiter goes through your video interview but I don’t believe this to be the case. I got a generic rejection email at 4AM the following day. I highly doubt a real human being was watching my video in the early morning hours for a customer service position. If you’re going to require people to record a video for an interview, at least make sure the platform is stable and resumable in the event of technology being technology.
- What would you do in the event you could not assist a customer due to limitations?
- Describe a time you had a difficult situation with a customer and what you did to remedy the situation.

Multiple interviews including over the phone and video. Standard interview questions, but have examples readily available for times you overcame a challenging work task, or difficult customer interaction. Call center experience a big plus.
- Give an example of a time that you went "above and beyond" at work

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at eBay (Las Vegas, NV) in Feb 2022
Applied for the job, got email for self recorded interview and skills test which had about 40 questions. There was a typing test too, Got invite for phone screen, then face to face meeting with the hiring manager via HireVue , got an email saying congrats I passed the final interview they are now waiting on my background check. They also ask for a picture of your office space and internet speeds. Recorded interview consisted of star questions Phone screen they tell you more about the job, pay and benefits Final interview more star questions than anything and a role play scenario
- What is your understanding of this position? Name a time where you had to have a tough conversation with a customer How do you handle tough calls as the calls can be back to back

There was an initial questionnaire to fill out, and if you passed that, then there's a video interview to determine if you have the job or not. Pretty straightforward process.
