    Great benefits. Great office In Edinburgh. Rate of pay is great in comparison to other call centres.

    Cons

    There are none other that hitting targets and promoting services which is standard for call centres.

    Current salary Flexibility to work from different offices Most of the people below senior leaders want to make a difference to the customer rather than their career.

    Cons

    Very little investment in people - numbers on a spreadsheet. Very political environment - leaders say one thing but actions suggest different. Morale in offices at all time low

    Advice to Management

    Be honest with yourselves. Update after update says people are the most important asset Centrica has but engagement and morale is at an all time low.

    Training is good The people are great to work with

    Legacy software is cumbersome to use. Morale is very low within offices due to lay offs.

    Good earning potential with good holidays, sick pay, pension etc. A safe environment and caring for your health.

    Compulsory on call and weekends. Stream lining of company with loss of managers and call centre staff on what already seems like an squeezed system.

    Good package and benefits Lots of resources for development if you know where to find them Nice buildings and amenities

    Cons

    Very hierarchical organisation Poor communications linked to levelist approach Bullying culture Performance Management processes are over complicated and suck up time Any constructive criticism is seen as insubordination and met with disciplinary approach Depending on where you are based and what role you have, you may have to fight for a desk

    Advice to Management

    The culture needs a massive overhaul. The focus on levels and hierarchy limits your opportunities. You are losing great staff who feel they have no voice.
