I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Marks & Spencer (Summertown, England) in Nov 2013
Interview
I applied online and filled out their "getting to know you" questionnaire. The questions mostly had to do with what my reaction would be in certain situations as a shop assistant. After successfully passing this hurdle, I received a call back from the training manager who invited me to come to the shop for an in-person interview. This interview was conducted with 4-5 other people who were all hired as well.
