The Role:
We’re looking for an experienced and driven Construction Manager to oversee multiple refurbishment projects from award through to handover. Based at our Bedford head office, you’ll spend time on-site across the UK, ensuring each project is delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard. You’ll also work closely with the Contracts Director during weekly progress meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Confirm project scope and issue RFIs to agree on contract terms and costs
• Manage market testing, tendering, and the appointment of subcontractors
• Support the Commercial Team with purchase orders and valuations
• Set up sites, ensuring all Health & Safety documentation is in place
• Maintain strong client relationships, particularly in occupied premises
• Carry out regular site inspections and complete quality check reports via our app
• Oversee supply chain performance and resolve any issues proactively
• Approve subcontractor applications and support valuation processes
• Lead project close-out, achieving practical completion and smooth handover

What You’ll Bring:

• Proven experience in construction management or a related role
• Excellent communication, organisational, and time management skills
• Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
• Confident using Microsoft Office and Excel
• Full UK driving licence
