Working alongside the Strategic Lead to develop and lead on ALN, Inclusion and Engagement strategy for Anglesey that unites central and specialist services, resource bases, outreach and mainstream provision, with a clear programme of workforce upskilling. They will secure statutory compliance, own the business plan and steer budgets for value and impact, while providing decisive leadership to specialist teams and collaborate with headteachers. Through rigorous monitoring and internal audit they will assure the quality of central, mainstream, specialist and EOTAS provision, front tribunal casework, build targeted training for headteachers, ALNCos and parents, and turn ALN data into evidence-led planning and resourcing. They will also chair key groups and forums, drive multi-agency working and post-16 transition, maintain robust records. They will oversee inclusive behaviour systems, early intervention, support for vulnerable learners (including ALN) and provide advice/guidance on exclusions.
