This company is a global manufacturing & technology business that not only manufactures components for multiple industries, but has also developed a cutting-edge CAM product that improves machine shop productivity and reduces programming bottlenecks. Used by manufacturers across Aerospace, Space, Oil & Gas, Nuclear, Automotive and Defence, the software enables machinists and programmers to generate effective toolpaths in a fraction of the time traditionally required. Due to continued growth and increasing demand from customers across Germany and Europe, they are looking to recruit a German-speaking CAM Programmer to provide technical expertise during customer demonstrations and support onboarding activities.

The successful candidate will work closely with the sales teams, customers and software engineers, assessing customer CAD models, creating machining strategies, generating toolpaths and providing valuable feedback to improve the product. This role is focused on CAM strategy rather than production machining.

The Role:

• Supporting German-speaking clients during technical demonstrations and onboarding
• Assessing customer CAD models and determining machining suitability
• Creating workholding strategies, tooling recommendations and machining approaches
• Generating and reviewing toolpaths
• Working remotely with customers and internal teams across multiple regions

The Person:

• CNC CAM Programming experience using SolidCAM, Siemens NX, Mastercam or similar
• Strong understanding of CNC CAM machining principles
