Having been voted the No.1 most attractive sports marketing agency to work for three consecutive years, we’re incredibly proud of our culture and the people that help to nurture it. If you want to help shape the future of the sports industry, then we want to hear from you.
AS OUR MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER YOU WILL...
Be responsible for developing and implementing SPORTFIVE’s internal and external communications strategy for the UK market. Working as a close-knit team of two, you will lead and partner day-to-day with the Marketing Communications Associate to deliver impactful events and insight-led communication initiatives while strengthening SPORTFIVE’s presence within the industry. You will collaborate closely with senior leadership and a broad network of UK and global stakeholders, including the wider Global Marketing Communications team, to ensure clear, consistent and effective messaging.
This is a highly generalist role within a small to medium-sized business, so you’ll develop and deliver a broad range of marketing and communications initiatives. You should be prepared to work across multiple topics and channels at pace, switching between day-to-day delivery and longer-term planning.
You will directly manage the Marketing Communications Associate, UK, providing coaching and clear direction, and creating a collaborative, high-performing function that delivers across external and internal communications. The role works in close partnership with the wider Global Marketing Communications team and has a reporting line into both the UK business and Global Headquarters in Hamburg.
This is a full-time role and you must be eligible to work in the UK.
Identify, plan and deliver SPORTFIVE networking and client events and initiatives, such as partnership hosting opportunities, play-on-pitch, other sport hospitality opportunities.
Proven experience in marketing communications, preferably within the sports, media, or entertainment industry (but not essential).
Ability to set a UK Plan and calendar of activity, measure communications impact (e.g., channel analytics, engagement, event outcomes) and turn insights into action.
Strong internal communications practice, including intranet/channel management, executive updates, change communications and employee engagement initiatives.
Don’t fit all the criteria? Don’t worry! Our job adverts give you a flavour of what you can expect in the role, but you don’t have to tick every box. We put a lot of focus on the importance of developing our people, so if you think you’d be a great fit for us then hit apply.
WHAT YOU’LL GET FROM US...
As well as the opportunity to join an organisation that invests in and rewards its staff, provides an enjoyable working environment, and offers genuine responsibility and scope to shape a role and add real value, you’ll also get...
SPORTFIVE are proud to be an equal opportunities employer. We believe that different perspectives and experiences are the key to success. Our goal is to create an authentic and attractive work environment where everyone feels valued, with a sense of belonging, and encouraged to shape the future of the sports industry.
