The Role
We are seeking an experienced Admin Support Specialist with previous experience working in a trades, construction, property maintenance or similar environment.
You will support trades businesses by managing appointments, handling customer enquiries, updating schedules and carrying out general administrative duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule and manage appointments
- Update customer calendars and job bookings
- Handle customer enquiries via phone and email
- Follow up quotes and appointments
- Maintain customer records
- General administration and office support
- Escalate technical or complex issues to the tradesperson when required
Requirements
- Previous experience working with trades businesses
- Strong administration and organisation skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Professional telephone manner
- Good written English
- Ability to work independently
- Reliable internet connection and computer
Preferred Experience
- Plumbing office administration
- Electrical contractor administration
- Construction administration
- Property maintenance administration
- Scheduling or dispatch experience
Pay & Benefits
- £16 per hour
- Increase to £18 per hour after 6 months subject to performance
