Job Summary:

We are a dynamic team specializing in cutting-edge technologies within the realm of e-trading and capital markets. As a leader in our field, we are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer with a strong foundation in low latency programming to join our team.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Utilize your extensive expertise in Low Latency Java programming to develop high-performance solutions for e-trading within Front Office/Capital Markets.
• Demonstrate a deep understanding of at least one key asset class in Capital Markets, such as Rates, Credit, FX, Equities.
• Conduct JVM tuning and Garbage Collector tuning to optimize system performance.
• Provide hands-on involvement in discussing and implementing low-level details, encompassing both code and OS aspects.
• Leverage your knowledge of frameworks such as LMAX Disruptor, Aeron, Coral Sequencer, Gemfire, and Gridgrain/Ignite to enhance system architecture and functionality.

Requirements:

• Expertise Level: 7+ years of experience in Java development with a focus on low latency programming.
• Proven track record of working in e-trading environments within Front Office/Capital Markets.
• Proficiency in JVM tuning and Garbage Collector tuning techniques.
• Ability to articulate and discuss technical intricacies at a granular level.
• Familiarity with one or more of the following frameworks: LMAX Disruptor, Aeron, Coral Sequencer, Gemfire, Gridgrain/Ignite.

Pay: £60,000.00-£160,000.00 per year
