The Role:
The role of Senior Manufacturing Engineer / Lead Manufacturing Engineer will report to the Head of Assembly, Integration & Test (AIT). Providing the opportunity to shape and optimise the Manufacturing Engineering Team from the ground up, eliminating all those problems you deal with in your current position. Taking the best practice from our all of our Business Units across the US and UK.
You will have the chance to hand pick your Manufacturing Engineering team and have the freedom to choose the best and the brightest from all industries to help grow the UK Space industry.

With experience in the manufacture or assembly of precision equipment (high value, low volume) with the drive to strengthen your leadership experience by recruiting and managing your own team. Key responsibilities:
The successful candidate will establish collaborative relationships across and beyond their own area of responsibility in order to maximise the business performance. They will provide technical team leadership and vision to the team working collaboratively with the customer and peer contractors. They must have exceptional written and verbal communication skills with key influencing abilities, documented leadership and demonstrate initiative.
